“Comfortable relaxing stay close to all of the things we like to do in Old Fotge.”

“We were very pleased with the house. Easy parking. Instructions helped on place to go and what to do on exiting. We were very comfortable. The living area and kitchen floor were dirty with dirt and pet hair. I wiped the bottom of the chairs. I love pets have one of my own. Have others also. Overall I would come back. My 9 year old grandson played ball in the front yard.”

“We enjoyed our stay and the hostess was very nice and responded quickly to any questions. We did have an issue with the a/c going out and they provided 4 window units within a couple of hours. They definitely believed in taking care of there renters. Nothing fancy was a clean house with all the needs you could ask for. Highly recommend this house...”

“The location ON the Moose River was gorgeous but the cottages are VERY close so it was a little noisy. The decorations on the grounds for Halloween were adorable! It was difficult to learn how to operate the TV and the heaters (it was cold in the mornings). There were no instructions left to run either item and when we called the number listed, we could only leave a message but nobody called us back. We had to wait till the next day when the office was open ..then someone came right away. The……

“We had a nice stay and overall enjoyed our time here. The property was clean, had plenty of seating, and the host was very nice, responsive, and helpful. We stayed during the summer and chose the location because we were looking to enjoy some of the outdoor activities in the area. The house is conveniently located right off a main road, which made getting around easy. Walmart is about 15 minutes away, Old Forge is approximately 44 minutes, and Ager Falls is only about 10 minutes away. There are……

“Beautiful location with lake view and access. Cabin is cute with a woodsy yard and Adirondack style furniture. We enjoyed the fireplace and the outdoor fire pit. Close to town. Some work needs to be done on the exterior ( painting and staining). Indoors, property needs cleaning in the closets where we found mouse excrement.”

“Lake was beautiful. Island is small, no place to walk the dog. Docks and other amenities could use Maintenance. The electric boat that was available to get back to the mainland was in disrepair. Had to rely on host. Felt a bit trapped on the island.”
